Yep. Rewriting your script is where the hard work begins. Start from the inciting event - the point where the main character's life changes forever - and find out where Acts 1, 2 and 3 need to go.
Listen to your characters - what do they do when they think no one else is watching? How do their lives change after the inciting event infects them? Check to be sure their dialogue is true to them.
I recommend you read Story, by Robert McKee. Took me three months on first read. Then I attended one of his seminars and met John Cleese. He was there for the third time!
Join a writers group and listen to your feedback. Then, rewrite after rewrite, when you are "done," send it out to a pro. I recommend Pilar Allessandra - she's kinda like the Niagara River. Amazing.
